I call this place "Oblivious".
It is a commentary on the untactful manner in which human beings interact with strange and misunderstood places and things. From our swift ability to hunt animals to extinction, to our ancestors' fondness for slavery, the history of humanity paints a bleak picture of our greedy and blundering path through the ages. Meanwhile, the earth continues to grow, trying to ignore our species as we pedal backwards as fast as we can.
Here, the oblivious explorer pisses on a giant egg, unaware that whatever marvelous creature lies within is hatching.

Gliese 581
Gliese 581 d is a planet 20 light-years towards the constellation Libra. Because of its positioning to the Gliese system's star, and the stable conditions on the planet itself, Gliese is widely believed to be life-sustaining. These are some of the possible inhabitants, enjoying a popular, yet violent inter-species sport.
